Adrian Barwick

Solicitor Director & Accredited Specialist, Employment & Industrial Law

Adrian is the Solicitor Director at WilliamsonBarwick. He is known for his strategic approach to employment law that delivers lawful and fair outcomes for his clients.

Adrian has advised and represented employers and senior executives on matters ranging from breach of contract, unfair dismissal, discrimination, general protections applications through to claims for statutory and contractual entitlements. He has a special interest in the legal challenges associated with the management of injured and unfit workers.

Adrian was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1995, and holds a Master of Laws. He is peer-recognised in Doyle’s Guide for Best Employment Lawyers and has been a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Employment and Industrial Law since 2006.

He also regularly presents at educational conferences on the topics of employment and industrial law.

Anika Moses

Senior Solicitor

Anika works on a range of matters including the drafting of employment contracts, reviewing and interpreting Awards, preparing Court documentation, assisting with the termination of employment, defending unfair dismissal / adverse action cases in the Industrial Relations Commission or Fair Work Commission and assisting with workplace investigations. She is efficient and responsive, with an unwavering commitment to every client.

Anika previously worked for a Queensland based boutique employment law firm where she was involved in assisting with matters for both employer and employee clients. It was the nature of this work that instilled Anika’s passion for employment law.

Anika was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2018 and joined the team at WilliamsonBarwick in February 2019.

Sandra Diez

Solicitor

Sandra has extensive experience advising employers of all sizes, at a national level, on employment and industrial relations matters across a range of industries.

Sandra regularly provides advice on disciplinary action, workplace grievances, performance management, fit for work processes, policies and procedures, employment contracts, work health and safety, restructures, redundancies, and awards and enterprise agreements. She represents clients on claims involving unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, bullying, workplace disputes, underpayment and Fair Work Ombudsman investigations.

Sandra was admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2014 and of the High Court of Australia in 2018.

Chinthana Malalasekera

Solicitor

Chinthana is a skilled practitioner in employment and workplace relations law with a track
record of navigating complex legal landscapes to deliver practical, strategic outcomes. He
specialises in advisory and litigation, managing cases that encompass workplace
complaints, redundancies, dismissals, general protections, enterprise bargaining, and sexual
harassment. His expertise extends to drafting robust employment contracts and policies for a
diverse clientele, including C-suite professionals.

Before joining WilliamsonBarwick, Chinthana advised on significant legal projects involving
payroll and modern award schedules, and undertaking due diligence projects for the
acquisition of businesses. His litigation experience includes representing clients before the
Federal and Supreme Courts, focusing on achieving efficient, cost-effective resolutions.

Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2019, Chinthana holds a Juris Doctor
from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Communication from Murdoch
University.

Anna Ding

Junior Lawyer

Anna is a proactive, reliable and detail-oriented solicitor at WilliamsonBarwick. With a keen interest in employment law, Anna brings a fresh perspective and her sharp analytical skills to her work. She is known for her problem-solving capabilities as she assists the solicitor director and solicitors with casework and employment law advice and preparation for hearings, ensuring that clients receive clear and practicable advice.

Anna’s role comprises of researching relevant legislation, the common law and case law, navigating workplace trends and issues as well as the interpretation and application of modern awards. She works on matters involving the construction of employment contracts and HR policies, redundancies and major workplace changes, restraint of trade provisions, performance management, discrimination, unfair dismissal and general protections.

Anna joined the WilliamsonBarwick legal team as a paralegal during law school and continued as a law graduate in the firm. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.

Tracey Rochester

Practice Manager

Tracey has been the Practice Manager at WilliamsonBarwick since 2019. She brings extensive experience with her to the role, having worked in the legal industry for many years. She is responsible for managing the day to day running of the office, implementation of new systems to improve the efficiency of the office, the business accounts and our client events.

Tracey is known for her attention to detail, customer service skills and holistic approach to her role, and is an invaluable support to the WilliamsonBarwick legal team.
